same here. file AP in August and got receipt. I-485 filed on July 2 and no receipt so far. called USCIS and could not find receipt number for 485.

How about 10000+ people sing a single letter and send it to every congressman/woman or senator. When you ask people to send letter to all congressman/woman they won�t. But i believe they wont hesitate to just sign one letter. Let me know if it�s useful

I am on the same boat.. My Wife is Expecting...Doctor filling I-693 form will file for exception.
and we need to take the shots after the pregnancy and feeding.
Today is a great day in IV history!
We filed our AOS last week (EB3 PD Jan 2007). My wife is currently pregnant and so she could not take all the vaccinations that are required in the medicals. She did the other required medicals though.
My question: Will this cause our applications to be denied? OR will they allow my wife to get the shots after our baby is born?
Anyone with experience please help.

You can get SSN is you could provide a proof that it is required for taking an exam or license. You need to show that the process requires and also get a letter from the license issuer that it required to issue a license.

Hi,
My parents got 10 year multiple entry US visa 2 years back. My brother who was residing here had sent the required documents and applied the visitor visa. My parents had visited me then for 3 months. Now I am planning to get my parents to US. But my brother no longer lives in USA. Is my parent�s visitor visa still valid since my brother is not residing here or should I re apply for my parents visitors visa. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have done this myself and got approval couple of months back. There is no real risk of interfiling. Your eb2 application will for all practical purposes will be like a regular application ( years of exp till date, exp etc)

When Retrogression introduced last year, for India the PD if I remember correctly was in 99 which now has moved to 2003 Jan, this I think because of addition of unused numbers?

Friend of mine got her DL renewed for 1 yr based on EAD as her h1b extension is not approved yet.DMV ppl look at her EAD and renewed her DL for 1 yr without any questions. So i guess you are fine with yr DL extension for 1 yr. As per my understanding and some of the posts , i think you won't loose yr H1b status as you are not using EAD for employment. And answer to yr last question is my frd got her DL renewed in VA only. She got it at DMV on Gallows Road, VA (it's in Fairfax,VA). Hope this helps.

Cut down on that profit margin and then you can find ways to pay employees for full 12 months a year - on bench or productive - and still stay above the prevailing wages. Which means working harder, finding more capable and billable employees and treating them better for employee retention instead of other usual tactics(which I rather not mention here)

Well my experience with passport renewal in Chicago was HORRIBLE. First it took about 6 week to receive it. I ordered a jumbo passport but received a regular one ...called the office and left several messages -NO REPLY. Finally one Mr.Chaman Lal had to answer my call. My luck Chaman was horrible to talk (too rude) and was a perfect Bihari babu ( no offense to any Biharis on forum) said in pure Bihari accent,"No Jumbo passport made here and as far as refund for the extra money for the jumbo passport I don't refund any paisa to anybody" and the bang he hung up.

For my son PIO ( applied in Chicago ) took 17 days to be delivered at my home address. I went to Indian Consulate in Chicago and asked them which way should I go. Visa or PIO and they told me to go for PIO as it is for 10 years and also had very less paper work involved.
If you can wait for another 20 days then go for PIO. Also, I don't know if PIO had any expedite services. Now a days, all processing are premium and ordinary.

You need to connect with company A and get your documents to prove 2 year experience.
There are 2 important aspects of I140 where applications get RFE or denials.- Qualifications of applicant and Ability to Pay.
It is good that you do not have any stake in the company and do not have any family relationship with the owner.You need to understand what are the reasons for such RFE since you know your case better and accordingly prepare a response.
If you show 2 year experience you will be covered as per your RFE.
For ability to pay, you will need to post the company B turnover, number of employees, profit, liabilities, VC funding if any... there is a lot here that one needs to know to file a proper A2P response. It can be done. You need to talk to your company, Talk to a good lawyer and a CPA if needed.
now looking at your RFE, you may also want to find out the past history of your company (any past RFEs, denials, any labor subs [yes labor subs are important now to know.]).
You definitely need a good attorney. Yours is a big RFE and forums cannot give you answers. None of us are lawyers so we cannot give you advice. Our views are based on our own reading and experience on forums. You do not want to take chances with an important RFE. It is not difficult to handle. I have seen much difficult RFEs. Good luck.

My lawyer refused to file with the e-pproval and I agree with him. Why take a risk with such an important matter. If you're approved, you should get your approval notice in a couple of weeks at the most. File your 485 after that.
