This is a little disappointing that Steve is confirming to keynote MWSF 2007 when it's just October, which means he probably wants us to wait (I hope not). :(
Besides, hasn't Steve keynoted MWSF every year?
MWSF needs confirmation for thier marketing materials.
I still believe that there will be some type of announcement, on something, before Thanksgiving.

what the hell can you do with a 32 GB flash drive?
The OS alone must take up 15GB leaving you with 15GB. 15GB. On a Macbook PRO. People actually do constructive work on these things. 15GB is about 10 photoshop files to some people. No music. No 'movies' nothing else can fit on 15GB. 15GB is about 1/5 the size of my itunes library.
What is the fliping point of a 32GB flash drive in an Apple? I see absolutly no use in putting anything less than a 128GB flash drive in a professional class laptop. And thats not going to happen for a good 3 or 4 years yet.
32GB flash drives would be perfect for the next gen Asus EEE PC though - just to store a bit of music and some documents and few apps.

wlh99, let me tell you precisely what I want to achieve, so there is no more confusion.
Two views;
View 1 is the ticker and a button underneath (button start.
View 2 is display (label) with the timer running and a button underneath (button Cancel)
Button Cancel will have two maybe three funtions ( stop the timer, reset it or just reset it at once and call View1 so the user can reuse the timer over again. That's it, I want to add that function to my App for 1.1 or it could be 1.4 if don't get to study now hahaa.
I'll take care of the alarms, sounds and those details if it reaches to zero, that I know already.
By the way, what's with 3rd person reference? the OP? you can call me Nekbeth or Chrystian, it's a lot more polite. Maybe you guys have a way to refer to someone , I don't know.

I don't know any medical staff that actually uses one on the job. You simply can't input information on the thing while on the go and holding it in your other hand.

I want someone to make a utility that replaces the improved bar display and algorithm with a randomized display and algorithm. That way you stop looking for bars to make your life better and just make the damn call and see if it goes through or not. Pass/fail.

Yeah, we moved to 57th place but there is pleasurdome and bitgamer right behind us :( some new guy, awachs, is making 10 mil a week :eek: his electric bill must be outrageous, must have a pile of gtx480's... and he will pass us in about 3 or 4 months.

I wonder if 10.4.8 is required? There was a separate thread about 10.4.8 being close to done. As I understand it, the RAW conversion stuff is built into the OS, so I wonder if there's a co-dependency between the two updates.
Anyway, I'm hoping "this week" means tomorrow, not Sunday.

5 - Nuketown, combined with the aforementioned assy spawns, might be the worst thing I've ever experienced in a game. The map is a total mess, made even worse when the enemy spawns on top of you, or behind you, all the time. Not fun. I don't even mess with it now. If it shows up, I quit out. Not worth the hassle.

Must be alot coming out today, if the store is down 1hr and 15min before the actual event.
Oooh, ya the whole Apple store is down now... so ~5 hours before the event iTMS goes down, and 1+ hour before the web store goes down. Doesn't the store usually only go down right before an event? Like for WWDC it went down maybe 15 minutes ahead of the keynote, or at least that's how I remember it.
Seems like maybe we'll get more than iPods... maybe a new line of media systems (like my predicted Mac mini Media Edition)?
Exciting stuff! Glad it doesn't start 'till after I get back from lunch! ;)
EIT: Odd that the store sign says we'll be back within the hour when the event doesn't even start for an hour... I assume its just a standard template page, but how hard would it have been to change the text to say 'in a couple of hours', or at 2pm EST, or even 'as soon as possible!'?
